Bion, a Singapore-based health venture, is seeking a doctor to help build a preventive-health platform through virtual-first weight and metabolic care. You will work with founders across clinical care, product and business design and influence how care is delivered.
If you have a passion for turning clinical judgment into practical daily actions and making prevention accessible, you will help shape pathways, governance and scalable care models that reach people who can benefit most.
What if helping people stay healthy was as compelling, accessible and financially worthwhile as treating illness?
That is the company we want to build.
Bion's ambition is to reshape how people approach their health and how better health gets funded. More healthy years. More life in them.
We are building towards a preventive health membership that connects clinical care, health data and everyday life. One that turns "eat better and exercise more" into a practical plan, a screening report into a next step, and progress into something people can see, take pride in and pursue together.
Think personal bests, shared challenges and recognition, backed by clinical substance. We want the motivation people find in sport and community to work for their health too, without making prevention a luxury reserved for biohackers.
The ambition also goes beyond who pays for an appointment. We want to build care and funding models where helping people stay well is worth investing in: for members, clinicians, employers, insurers and public-health partners. That means earning the evidence, designing the economics and bringing more of that value back to the people doing the work.
Virtual-first weight and metabolic care is our initial clinical focus. It is a starting point for a broader preventive-health platform, not the limit of it.
We are looking for a doctor who wants to build that model with us. You will work directly with the founders across clinical care, product and business design, with meaningful influence over what we build and how we deliver it.
If you have ever finished a consultation knowing that the real work starts when the patient leaves, this role is about building what happens next. You will help connect medical judgment with daily behaviour, make prevention easier to act on and design a service that can reach beyond people already able to pay for premium care.
Clinical leadership, service development or governance experience is especially valuable. Experience in behaviour change, public health, outcomes evaluation or healthcare financing would bring another useful perspective. Eligibility and appointment for any formal Clinical Governance Officer responsibilities will be assessed separately. You do not need to own a clinic.
Part-time initially, with protected weekly time and a defined clinical contribution. Scope, cash compensation and potential founding equity will be agreed based on commitment and responsibilities. A larger role can develop as the business grows; this is not a guaranteed fully salaried full-time position from day one.
