Vantage Automotive Limited is seeking a PDI Foreman to oversee daily Pre-Delivery Inspection operations, ensuring new vehicles meet factory quality and safety standards before delivery. You will lead PDI Assistants and vendors, monitor productivity, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to support timely vehicle delivery.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in automotive workshops, with 3 years in a supervisory role, and hold a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence.

Qualifications

• Nitec, Higher Nitec, GCE A-Level, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of automotive workshop experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) operations to ensure vehicles meet factory quality and safety standards before delivery.
• Lead and supervise PDI Assistants and in-house vendors; monitor workshop productivity and coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet delivery targets.
• Plan workshop capacity and monitor work-in-progress to meet vehicle registrations and delivery timelines.
• Conduct in-progress and final vehicle quality checks and investigate technical issues with relevant support teams.
• Monitor vendor competency, workmanship, and service standards; ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing As a PDI Foreman

• you are responsible for overseeing daily Pre-Delivery Inspection operations and ensuring that all new vehicles meet factory quality and safety standards before delivery.
• This role leads PDI Assistants and in‑house vendors, monitors workshop productivity, and coordinates with internal stakeholders to support timely vehicle delivery and monthly registration targets.
• Lead and supervise PDI Assistants and vendors to achieve workshop productivity and quality targets.
• Plan workshop capacity and monitor work‑in‑progress to meet vehicle registration and delivery timelines.
• Conduct in‑progress and final vehicle quality checks.
• Investigate technical and product quality issues with relevant support teams.
• Monitor vendor competency, workmanship, and service standards.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health requirements.
• Support new vehicle launches, press cars, test‑drive vehicles, and other operational requirements.
• Maintain workshop tools, facilities, cleanliness, safety, and good housekeeping.

Who We’re Looking For

Nitec, Higher Nitec, GCE A-Level, or equivalent. At least 5 years of automotive workshop experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role. Strong team leadership and workshop coordination skills. Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence.
