Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Food Services Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our food service business. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, maintaining high food quality and service standards, managing staff performance, and driving business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of one or multiple food service outlets to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and service standards to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Lead, supervise, train, and evaluate restaurant and kitchen teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Monitor sales performance, prepare operational reports, and implement strategies to improve revenue and profitability.
• Manage operating budgets, labour costs, food costs, and inventory to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) regulations, food safety, hygiene, workplace safety, and all relevant statutory requirements.
• Coordinate procurement activities and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally, implementing service recovery measures where necessary.
• Work closely with management to plan marketing campaigns, promotions, seasonal menus, and business development initiatives.
• Conduct regular audits of outlet operations to ensure consistent service quality and compliance with company standards.
• Analyse operational data and recommend process improvements to optimise efficiency and business performance.
• Foster a positive work culture while ensuring high employee engagement and continuous staff development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in food service or restaurant operations, including a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership, people management, and organisational skills.
• Proven experience in managing budgets, operational performance, and multi-outlet or high-volume food service operations.
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations in Singapore.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and POS/reporting systems.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, when operationally required.
