Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Production Planner for the food industry to coordinate production activities and ensure timely fulfilment of customer and operational requirements in Singapore.

The role involves monitoring inventories, optimising raw materials, and collaborating with Manufacturing, Quality Control, Procurement, R&D and Customer Service teams to support smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling, formulations, blending, batching, recipes, flavours, ingredients or food manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated computer skills in SAP/ERP systems, Outlook, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate production activities to ensure timely fulfilment of customer and operational requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimise raw material utilisation to minimise waste and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality Control, Procurement, R&D and Customer Service teams to support smooth production operations.
• Analyse production data and identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality and inventory accuracy.
• Support batch planning, product specifications and production adjustments to ensure quality standards are met.
• Track production performance metrics and prepare reports for operational review.
• Investigate production issues and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and operational effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate production and inventory records within ERP systems.
• Provide operational support when required to address production-related issues.
