Job summary

SINGAPORE FOOD DELIGHT MANUFACTURER PTE. LTD. is seeking a Food Product Developer to research trends and create innovative concepts. You will test recipes, select ingredients, and prepare samples for client reviews, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and market needs.

You will coordinate with teams to implement concepts, guide production on new procedures, and maintain compliant development records with rigorous food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Culinary Arts or a related field.
• Experience in food preparation, recipe development or food manufacturing is an advantage.
• Good organisational, communication and presentation skills.
• Creative, detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willing to participate in product trials and work collaboratively across departments.

Responsibilities

• Research food trends, new ingredients and product concepts to meet customer requirements and market preferences.
• Develop, test and refine recipes, including ingredient selection, portioning, preparation methods and product specifications.
• Conduct food tasting sessions and evaluate product quality, taste, texture, appearance and overall suitability.
• Prepare product samples and presentations for customer review and feedback.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to implement approved product concepts.
• Provide guidance to production staff on new product preparation and procedures.
• Review and improve existing recipes and product formulations.
• Maintain product development records and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
