Job summary

V-SWIFT PTE. LTD. invites applications for a kitchen support role at our Singapore facility to assist in cookery classes and manage meal-related tasks.

You will help prepare crockery and ingredients, distribute supplies to students, and maintain high cleanliness standards throughout each day.

Qualifications

• GCE N Level with ability to read and understand simple English.
• Valid WSQ FSC Level 1+ certification during contract period.
• At least 1 year of relevant food handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in preparing crockery and ingredients for cookery classes.
• Distribute crockery and ingredients to students during classes.
• Clean equipment and crockery after lessons and store properly.
• Keep table-tops and floors clean at end of day.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by SH/HOD.

Job description

The Services required are set out as follows:

• To assist the teachers in the preparation of crockery and ingredients for cookery classes.


• To assist the teachers in the distribution of crockery and ingredients to students during cookery classes.


• To clean all equipment and crockery items used during cookery lessons and ensure these items are stored appropriately at the end of the working day.


• To ensure that table-tops and floors are kept clean at the end of each lesson, and at the end of the day.


• To perform any other duties as assigned by SH/HOD overseeing the department.

The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• GCE ‘N’ Level: Able to understand instructions, read, write and speak simple English.


• A valid WSQ Food Safety Course (FSC) Level 1 (or above) certification during period of contract: Possess knowledge of food preparation and safety (Company to provide proof of certificate)


• At least 1 year of relevant experience in any previous food handling assignments (Contractor to provide employment history of candidates).
