Job summary
Waters is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide post-sales technical support for installation, maintenance and repair of Waters Biosciences instruments, with a focus on flow cytometry systems. You will ensure high instrument uptime, deliver excellent customer service, and support service revenue growth in Singapore.
The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor's in Biomedical/Engineering, with 3+ years in instrumentation, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to train customers
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in instrumentation.
- Experience with biomedical, biotechnology, clinical laboratory, or analytical instruments is preferred.
- Experience servicing flow cytometry instruments is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission instruments per GDPMS guidelines.
- Perform preventive maintenance within service schedules.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve instrument hardware/software issues.
- Provide maintenance and repair support for instruments under warranty and service contracts.
- Ensure all service activities are documented and reported.
- Train customers on instrument operation and maintenance.
- Support service contract renewals and pricing adjustments.
