Job summary

Marks & Spencer in Singapore is seeking a Section Manager to lead the Lingerie department of our flagship store, driving sales targets and delivering a premium customer experience.

You will manage inventory, optimize profitability, and develop a specialized team of lingerie advisors through coaching and training in a high-volume environment. The role requires a commercially driven leader with a track record in retail management and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years in retail management, with mandatory experience leading a lingerie department for a direct competitor.
• Proven track record of analyzing commercial data to drive sales and manage inventory effectively.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate a specialized retail team.
• Strong understanding of premium customer service and personalized fitting consultations.
• Highly adaptable and proactive in a high-volume Flagship environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial performance and P&L for the Flagship Lingerie department by identifying market trends and executing targeted promotions.
• Elevate the customer experience through premium fitting consultations and exceptional service standards in the fitting rooms and on the sales floor.
• Execute high impact visual merchandising to showcase key collections and maximize product visibility.
• Optimize stock density, manage replenishment, and analyze competitor pricing to protect and grow our market share.
• Streamline operational efficiency by managing payroll budgets, minimizing shrinkage, and executing seamless seasonal product launches.
• Lead, coach, and upskill a specialized team of lingerie advisors through rigorous performance management and continuous product training.
