Job description

Job Scope:

• Works under the supervision of a physician or medical director to conduct sleep studies—both in-lab (polysomnography, CPAP titration) and at-home testing.
• Prepares patients: explains procedures, applies sensors and electrodes, ensures safety and comfort.
• Monitors and records physiological data—such as brain waves (EEG), heart rate, oxygen levels, breathing patterns.
• Scores and analyzes sleep data, composes reports, and supports physicians in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• With advanced credentials, may oversee other staff, manage testing protocols, and perform complex evaluations.
