Job summary

Drake International Singapore is seeking a seasoned Bond Coverage & Revenue professional to drive client coverage and trading revenue through bond products. You will execute transactions, cultivate relationships with institutional clients across primary and secondary markets, and deliver timely market insights and trading ideas.

You will work with the Mirae Group trading team, expand fixed-income business, and identify new revenue opportunities while upholding high integrity and MAS compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field with 5+ years in bond sales/trading.
• Established relationships with institutional investors.
• Strong knowledge of bond markets, liquidity, trade execution and credit risk.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.
• Commercial mindset to identify new business opportunities.
• Structured, reliable and collaborative in an international environment.
• High integrity and independence; MAS Fit and Proper criteria.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving Client Coverage & Revenue generation through trading bond products and developing relationships with institutional clients.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Execute bond transactions and oversee trade activity to ensure efficient and timely execution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients across both primary and secondary bond markets.
• Deliver timely market insights, competitive pricing, and actionable bond investment and trading ideas.
• Track market movements, liquidity conditions, credit spreads, and other developments affecting fixed-income markets.
• Collaborate closely with the broader trading team at Mirae Group to identify market opportunities and enhance trading performance.
• Support the expansion of the firm’s fixed-income business by identifying new revenue opportunities and strengthening existing client partnerships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, Business, or related field with 5 years of min experience in bond sales/trading team.
• Established relationships with institutional investors and market participants.
• Strong knowledge of bond markets, liquidity, trade execution and credit risk.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.
• A commercial mindset with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• A structured, reliable and collaborative approach to working in an international environment.
• High level of integrity, professionalism and independence.
• Must satisfy the MAS Fit and Proper criteria.
