Job summary

MAXX ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a drafting professional to support fire protection design projects in Singapore.

You will prepare and amend AutoCAD drawings for Design-and-Build projects, focusing on fire protection systems such as sprinklers, hydrants and hoses, and you will assist engineers with documentation and site coordination. You should be comfortable reading technical drawings, coordinating with site and project teams, and updating plans based on site conditions and client

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Drafting or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant drafting experience in the construction will be an advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of MEP Revit or other drafting software will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with Fire Protection systems drawings is preferred.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans.

Responsibilities

• Handle all projects BIM or AutoCAD drawings.
• Assist engineers and managers in preparing and amending drawing plans and Design-and-Build projects in BIM or AutoCAD, mainly for Fire Protection Systems.
• Draft fire protection system layouts, including sprinkler systems, wet risers, hose reels and other installations.
• Create tender documents and assist engineers with BQ when needed.
• Revise drawings per site conditions and engineer instructions.
• Coordinate with project engineers, coordinators and site personnel for drawing accuracy.
• Conduct site visits and measurements to verify site conditions.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and standards.
• Maintain proper records and filing of drawings and technical documents.
• Provide administrative support and reception assistance as needed.
• Attend meetings with main contractor or consultant when required.
