Job summary

Asia Pacific Exchange Pte. Ltd. (APEX) seeks a hands-on Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, operate, and safeguard a critical trading and corporate infrastructure in Singapore.

The role covers compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms, with emphasis on availability, security, resilience, and recoverability in a regulated exchange setting. You will implement secure configurations, monitor performance, manage migrations, and provide L2/L3 escalation support.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of hands-on enterprise infrastructure experience.
• Strong depth in at least one core domain (systems, networking, virtualization, storage, or cloud).
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows Server environments.
• Experience with disaster recovery and high availability technologies.
• Experience in public/hybrid cloud environments.
• Good networking knowledge and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, operate, and maintain secure hybrid infrastructure across data centres and cloud.
• Manage compute, storage, networking, and core infrastructure services.
• Plan changes, patches, migrations, and lifecycle activities per security requirements.
• Provide Level 2/3 escalation support for production issues.
• Maintain architecture diagrams, runbooks, and documentation; coordinate with vendors.
