Job summary

Foundation Healthcare is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Finance & Investor Relations to steer forward-looking financial strategy, forecasting and performance analysis. The role centers on strategic planning, decision support, budgeting and modelling to enable informed business decisions.

You will build out our Investor Relations function and enhance the company’s profile with the capital markets, partnering with senior leadership to align financial goals with business strategy.

Qualifications

• At least 6–10 years of relevant finance experience in strategic finance and FP&A.
• Prior experience in investment banking, equity research or buy-side investments is preferred.

About The Role

The Senior Manager, Strategic Finance & Investor Relations plays a critical role in helping us make informed business decisions through financial insights, forecasting, and performance analysis. The main focus is on forward-looking financial strategy rather than historical accounting. The role will also involve building out our Investor Relations function and helping build the Company’s profile with the capital markets.

Roles and responsibilities include:

Strategic Finance

Strategic Planning and Decision Support

• Partner with senior leadership and business units to align financial goals with business strategy.
• Provide financial insights and scenario analysis to guide strategic decisions, investments, and initiatives (e.g., expansion, M&A, new products).
• Conduct feasibility studies and business case evaluations for key initiatives.

Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Modelling

• Drive the budgeting process and oversee regular reforecasts (monthly or quarterly).
• Collaborate with department heads to gather input and validate planning assumptions.
• Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, planning, and decision-making.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

• Analyze actual financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
• Identify trends, variances, and key drivers of performance.
• Prepare clear, concise management reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders and executive leadership

Business Partnering

• Provide guidance to teams to align operational plans with financial targets.
• Support cross-functional initiatives with financial analysis and insights.

Process Improvement and Systems Optimization

• Improve financial reporting processes, tools, and workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.

Strategic Investor Relations

• Design and execute a proactive IR program. Lead all communications with the investment community, including earnings calls, investor days, and non-deal roadshows, ensuring a sophisticated and transparent narrative.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor performance, and equity research to provide the Executive Team and Board with actionable insights on market sentiment and valuation drivers.
• At least 6-10 years of relevant finance experience in strategic finance and FP&A. Prior experience in investment banking, equity research or buy-side investments is preferred.
• Proven strategic mindset in order to influence corporate strategy and capital allocation.
• A keen eye for detail and experience building integrated models from scratch (in Excel or other planning applications)
• Experience driving and executing on finance processes (e.g. budget and forecasts)
• A proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal
