Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in accounting/finance or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Organized, motivated and capable of independent work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly and year-end financial closing activities and provide analysis of actuals vs. budget.
• Ensure compliance with policies, international accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Partner with internal stakeholders on annual budget planning and financial projections.
• Manage and prepare grant claims, ensuring adherence to funding guidelines and timely submissions.
• Oversee claims process, handle inquiries, track submissions and perform reconciliations.
• Implement efficient claim management processes to optimize cashflow and minimize delays.
• Support system testing, review workflows and assist with user acceptance testing when required.
• Provide value-added financial advice to business partners on operating matters.
• Support ad-hoc projects and new processes as required.
