About the role

This is an one-year contract position supporting financial operations, reporting, treasury, compliance, and administrative functions within the finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting entries

• Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities

• Prepare financial schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents

• Monitor daily cash positions and bank balances

• Maintain records of fixed assets and capital expenditure

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and statutory requirements

• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and requested documents

• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders on finance-related matters

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related disciplines

• 1-3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience preferred

• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply

• Good understanding of accounting and financial principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or similar is an advantage

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Good organizational and time management skills

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
