Job summary

VITAL (Ministry of Finance) is seeking an Executive to join the Finance Services team to manage and administer Finance Services for our service partners. You will handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger tasks, ensuring accuracy and timely processing, including month-end closing and audit support.

Proficiency in MS Excel and finance systems is essential. The ideal candidate has 2 years of experience, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills to coordinate

Qualifications

• 2 years of Accounts or Finance experience preferred, willingness to learn welcome
• Degree or diploma in accounting/finance helps
• Strong attention to detail and numerical aptitude
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Execute daily Accounts Payable transactions and vendor setup with supporting documents
• Issue billings to external parties and monitor receipts including aging reports
• Record deposits and investigate discrepancies in the Finance System
• Post to correct accounts and perform re-class journals as needed
• Prepare month-end and year-end closing, audit schedules, and confirmations
• Handle WHT for foreign suppliers and GST returns via IRAS portal
• Prioritize outstanding transactions using reports and dashboards
• Ensure controls comply with SOPs and finance guidelines
• Provide support for internal and external audits and system enhancements
• Assist on adhoc projects as required
