Job summary

CLSA in Singapore is seeking a Research Associate to support the research function. The role involves coordinating research activities, working with Senior Analysts on projects, and handling client research requests.

Responsibilities include report writing, financial modelling, and maintaining multiple databases. You will contribute to a collaborative team, generate ideas, communicate issues for action, and help develop the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in business-related discipline, preferably with finance or accounting major.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Research Associate or related role in a large accounting firm.
• Sound understanding of financial modelling.
• Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal sensitivity.
• High sense of commercial awareness.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Analysts on specific research projects.
• Perform due diligence, write research reports, and condense research ideas in PowerPoint.
• Perform financial modelling.
• Collect data and compile answers for client requests; maintain databases of economic and industry data.
• Assist in fundamental research on companies.
• Accompany clients on visits; produce notes on all visits.
• Maintain sound working relationships with Corporates, Clients, the Government, and industry organizations.
