Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an Account Executive cum Payroll Executive to manage the company’s accounting functions and payroll administration. You will ensure accurate financial records, timely payroll processing, and compliance with statutory requirements, while supporting the Finance and HR teams.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will handle AP/AR/GL, prepare invoices and journals, perform reconciliations, and assist with monthly, quarterly and annual closings, tax

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and payroll administration.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized.
• Able to work independently or with minimal guidance and start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set or partial set of accounts including AP, AR, and GL.
• Process supplier invoices, payments, staff claims, and petty cash.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations and assist closing activities.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist in tax filings, SST/GST submissions, and regulatory reporting.
• Process monthly payroll accurately and maintain payroll records.
• Respond to employee inquiries while maintaining confidentiality.
