UNITED OVERSEAS INSURANCE LTD in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Manager in Finance Operations to oversee end-to-end premium collections, credit control, and payment processing. This hands-on role uses Odyssey 5 for receipts and policy matching, requiring accuracy under tight monthly deadlines.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of operational finance experience, a degree in accounting or finance, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.
• 8–10 years in operational finance, credit control or accounting.
• Experience in the Singapore General Insurance sector preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS).

Responsabilités

• Perform high-volume manual receipting and policy matching in Odyssey 5.
• Monitor outstanding premiums and manage collections with brokers and policyholders.
• Process outbound payments, vendor payments and reinsurance settlements.
• Carry out daily bank reconciliations ( SGD and FX ).
• Drive transformation initiatives and automate routine finance tasks.
