Job summary

Allied World is seeking a Finance Operations Analyst in Singapore to process premium and claim payments, apply daily cash, and support month-end reporting. You will liaise with underwriters, brokers and senior management, manage premium escalations, and contribute to finance projects.

The role requires 3+ years in Finance Operations, preferably with insurance exposure, and strong Excel skills to support accurate reporting and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Finance or Accounting.
• Background in Accounts Receivable desirable.
• More than 3 years in Finance Operations.
• Previous experience in insurance is an advantage.
• Experience handling volume transactions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excel and Microsoft products with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to meet weekly and monthly reporting deadlines under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Process premium and claim payments and monitor settled direct transactions in the workflow system.
• Ensure unallocated receipts are matched on a timely basis.
• Work with stakeholders to resolve disputes and maintain unallocated receipts to acceptable levels.
• Liaise with Underwriters, Brokers and senior management for timely booking of policies.
• Liaise with operations to ensure accurate processing of premium, process claims, refunds and commissions.
• Support month-end closing and prepare monthly/quarterly operation reports.
