Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance or related.
• 8–10 years of experience in Accounting and Finance with understanding of Finance operations.
• Experience in finance automation and digitalisation initiatives.
• Strong communication and ability to work collaboratively across different stakeholders’ groups and deliver timely results.
• Experience managing and leading a team.
• Understanding end-to-end Finance Operations in securities broking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages Finance Operations team.
• Oversees the payment and receipt functions.
• Reviews clients’ and brokers’ reconciliation.
• Reviews investment security tagging, update of last done price and investment reports.
• Reviews daily entries for posting in accounting system.
• Reviews payment, receipt, miscellaneous, and trade debtor reconciliation.
• Reviews AML transactions.
• Liaises with internal and external auditors.
• Lead process improvements and drive efficiency within the team.
• Provide guidance and support to the Finance team.
• Support ongoing transformation projects or new product launches.
