Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Good knowledge of inventory accounting, costing, internal controls, statutory compliance, and audit processes.
• Confident communicator with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting activities of GL, AR, and AP teams to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing, management reporting, consolidation, and balance sheet reviews.
• Oversee inventory accounting, costing, stock provisions, cash flow, and working capital management.
• Coordinate statutory audits, tax matters, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with Department Heads to prepare budgets, forecasts, and targets.
• Analyse financial performance against budgets and provide improvement recommendations.
• Monitor revenue and cost drivers and provide insights to support profitability and decisions.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure timely financial information across the organization.
