hermeneutic research, a best-in-class proprietary trading firm, seeks a Finance Manager in Singapore to oversee financial operations and reporting. You will report to the Head of Finance and collaborate across departments to support the firm’s financial health.

You’ll handle month-end close, cash management, investor communications in English and Chinese, and strengthen internal controls in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifikationen

• 5–8 years of progressive experience as a Finance Manager in buy-side or crypto services considered a strong plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA/CA designation is required.
• Solid foundation in bookkeeping, general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations; Xero or QuickBooks experience a plus.
• Experience with fund administrators (NAV review) and investor activity.
• Audit experience and/or managing external audits is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin), written and spoken.
• Proficient in financial modeling and Excel; Python or similar programming is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.

Aufgaben

• Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping, month-end close, and reconciliations to maintain accurate records.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with fund administrator; review NAV packs and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends and variances, and suggest improvements.
• Automate reporting processes and enhance financial systems.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
• Prepare investor materials in English and Chinese; respond to investor queries.
• Maintain internal controls and contribute to audits and regulatory compliance.
