Job summary

Talent First is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function in a manufacturing environment. You will oversee the finance team and close books while partnering with management on FP&A, cost control and process improvements.

You will direct the finance team across AP, AR, GL and month-end close, ensure timely reporting, drive budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, and deliver insights to improve cost efficiency and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Experience as Finance Manager in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing a finance team of at least 5 people.
• Strong knowledge of AP, AR and month-end closing.
• Experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and cost-saving initiatives.
• Hands-on, commercially minded and able to drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Finance team across AP, AR, GL and month-end closing.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly financial closing and reporting.
• Improve finance processes and shorten the month-end closing cycle.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, FP&A and variance analysis.
• Analyse manufacturing and operational costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare management reports and provide financial insights for business decisions.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve existing finance processes.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents and relevant stakeholders.
