Job summary

Talent First Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance team and oversee financial reporting, budgeting, FP&A, and month-end closing across the company’s entities.

You will ensure compliance with local GAAP and IFRS, strengthen internal controls, drive process improvements, and partner with business leaders on performance analysis and cost optimization. Strong Excel skills and ERP experience, including Dynamics 365, are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of finance and accounting experience in manufacturing or trading.
• Experience as Finance Manager leading a sizable finance team.
• Hands-on in AP/AR, month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and cost optimisation.
• Ability to improve processes and strengthen internal controls.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems; Dynamics 365 advantageous.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Chief Financial Controller, you will lead the finance team and oversee financial reporting, budgeting, FP&A, month-end closing, compliance and finance process improvements across the company's business entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations across multiple business entities.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and year-end closing, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, variance analysis and gross profit reporting.
• Partner with business stakeholders on financial planning, cost optimisation and business performance analysis.
• Oversee AP, AR, treasury and cash flow management.
• Support audit, tax, statutory reporting and internal controls.
• Maintain fixed assets, GST, withholding tax and corporate tax schedules.
• Review journal entries, payments and finance master data.
• Drive finance process improvements, automation and stronger internal controls.
• Lead and develop the finance team.
• Perform other ad hoc finance projects as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of finance and accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or trading environment.
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager leading a finance team (experience managing a sizable finance team is preferred).
• Strong hands-on experience in AP/AR, month-end closing, financial reporting and FP&A.
• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and cost optimisation.
• Proven ability to improve finance processes, strengthen controls and shorten financial closing timelines.
• Strong Excel and ERP system experience. Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
• Commercially minded with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Good knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS.
