Job summary

Talent First in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Finance leader to own budgeting, forecasting and FP&A for a manufacturing business. You will perform variance analyses, drive cost optimisation and deliver actionable financial insights to support strategic decisions.

The role requires directing the finance team, managing monthly closings, and partnering with operations on costing, inventory and performance metrics to improve overall profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of relevant Finance experience.
• Direct Finance experience within a manufacturing environment is required.
• Strong FP&A experience covering budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Experienced in manufacturing costing, inventory and COGS.
• Strong Excel, analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Prior managerial or supervisory experience required.
• Professional accounting qualification will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Perform actual vs budget, variance, profitability and cost analysis.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Drive cost optimisation and identify opportunities to improve business performance.
• Oversee monthly financial closing and management reporting.
• Partner with operations on manufacturing costs, inventory and business performance.
• Lead and develop the Finance team.
