Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is representing a Singapore-based food manufacturing company seeking a Finance Manager. The role focuses on strategic finance leadership, cash and treasury management, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration to drive profitability and working capital efficiency.

You will lead banking relationships, FX hedging, and financing strategies while partnering with operations, sales and procurement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years experience in commodity trading treasury.
• Experience in foreign exchange hedging, banking facilities and trade finance.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash positions, cash flow forecasts and working capital requirements.
• Monitor receivables, payables and funding needs to ensure liquidity for operations.
• Manage banking relationships and banking/trade finance facilities.
• Review financing costs and facility terms to optimise funding arrangements.
• Monitor FX exposure and execute hedging strategies per policy.
• Prepare treasury reports on cash, borrowings, and FX exposure.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Analyse revenue, margins and operating expenses against budgets.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Prepare financial models and scenario analyses for planning.
• Partner with operations, sales and procurement to improve profitability and working capital efficiency.
• Review and maintain standard costing for manufacturing.
• Analyse variances in material, labour and overhead and investigate discrepancies.
• Review product costs and margins for pricing and cost control.
• Recommend improvements to costing accuracy and reporting processes.
• Support or lead ERP implementation and process improvements.
• Collaborate with teams and vendors on requirements, testing and data migration.
• Improve financial reporting accuracy, efficiency and internal controls.
• Develop and maintain finance procedures for treasury and financial management.
