Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; professional qualification preferred.
• 8+ years in finance with 3–5 years in controllership, closing, or reporting.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and month-end close experience.
• Experience with shared services and regional finance teams in a multinational environment.
• Manufacturing or semiconductor industry experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Singapore statutory, audit, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in SAP/SAP S/4HANA, Excel, PowerPoint; automation tools a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Chinese language ability advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations for AEM Singapore.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close with timeliness and accuracy.
• Review results, reconciliations, and resolve variances to ensure integrity.
• Prepare and support management and statutory reporting, audits.
• Liaise with shared services and regional finance teams.
• Oversee intercompany, eliminations, recharges, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, tax and controls.
• Drive process improvements and automation to shorten close timelines.
• Participate in finance transformation and SAP/S4HANA projects.
