Job summary

Toyota Financial Services Singapore Pte. Ltd. oversees the Finance and Accounting team, delivering timely monthly and quarterly reports to Japan, along with GST filings and cash flow planning.

The role collaborates with the Asia Pacific region and Japan HQ to meet regional reporting requirements and assist board-level discussions. The candidate will drive financial strategy, coordinate with external auditors and tax agents, and ensure robust internal controls and corporate governance practices

Qualifications

• Min. Degree in Accounting / CA / ACCA or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in similar position (with supervisory experience).
• Expert level in Microsoft Excel is a must.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
• Highly committed team player.
• Independent and hands-on with positive learning attitude.
• Able to communicate and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Finance and Accounting team.
• Prepare/review monthly financial report, quarterly reporting package to Japan.
• Prepare/review quarterly GST filing.
• Responsible in cash flow management, planning and funding requirements.
• Prepare KPI and KRI Treasury report for submission to Japan.
• Work with Asia Pacific Region and Japan HQ on respective reporting requirements.
• Prepare and present for shareholder meetings and board meetings.
• Prepare business plan and provide recommendations to management.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership, contributing to the overall business strategy.
• Coordinate with external auditors for audit requirements and audited financial statements.
• Liaise with tax agent on tax compliance and review tax computations.
• Liaise with corporate secretary for corporate secretarial matters.
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies, guidelines, and internal controls.
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors in relation to audit requirements, including preparation of audited financial statements.


• Liaise and work with tax agent on tax compliance matters and review tax computation prepared by tax agent.


• Liaise with corporate secretary for all corporate secretarial matters.


• Maintain and ensure compliance with accounting policies, guidelines, and internal control systems.


• Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
