Job summary

Michael Page International Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced accounting leader to oversee finance, corporate affairs, compliance and regional reporting as the company expands regionally.

The successful candidate will partner with senior management and overseas stakeholders to drive business planning, governance and financial oversight across multiple entities and markets.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of accounting and finance experience with exposure to financial reporting.
  • Experience managing statutory audits and compliance activities.
  • Regional reporting, group consolidation or multi-entity exposure is advantageous.
  • JLPT N1/N2 level (or equivalent) essential for communications with stakeholders in Japan.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full spectrum of finance and accounting activities including month-end and year-end closing.
  • Prepare financial statements, management reports and regulatory submissions.
  • Oversee cash flow planning, treasury activities and financial controls.
  • Coordinate audit activities and ensure statutory and tax compliance.
  • Support group reporting, budgeting and mid-term planning exercises.
  • Partner regional entities to facilitate financial consolidation and reporting processes.
  • Contribute to HR administration, governance initiatives and company-wide policy development.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to step into a broad leadership position encompassing finance, corporate affairs, compliance and regional reporting responsibilities.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and overseas stakeholders, supporting business planning, governance initiatives and financial oversight as the organisation continues its regional expansion.

Description
  • Managing the full spectrum of finance and accounting activities, including month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Preparing financial statements, management reports and regulatory submissions
  • Overseeing cash flow planning, treasury activities and financial controls
  • Coordinating audit activities and ensuring compliance with statutory and tax requirements
  • Supporting group reporting, budgeting exercises and mid-term business planning initiatives
  • Partnering regional entities to facilitate financial consolidation and reporting processes
  • Contributing to HR administration, corporate governance initiatives and company-wide policy development
Profile
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of accounting and finance experience with exposure to financial reporting
  • Experience managing statutory audits and compliance-related activities
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience engaging stakeholders across different business functions
  • Prior exposure to regional reporting, group consolidation or multi-entity environments will be advantageous
  • Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N1 or JLPT N2 level (or equivalent professional fluency) is essential due to regular communication, reporting and collaboration with stakeholders based in Japan.
