Job summary

BUZUD in Singapore seeks a Finance Manager to oversee financial planning, accounting operations, cash flow, and regulatory compliance for its medical technology business. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to optimize margins and ROI.

You will lead FP&A, manage month-end close and statutory reporting under SFRS, and supervise inventory and tax activities while liaising with external auditors and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance or equivalent professional qualification (CPA/CA Singapore/ACCA).
• 5–8 years of progressive finance/accounting experience with 2–3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Hands-on experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, AutoCount).
• Strong Excel modeling skills and financial integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A including budgeting, rolling forecasts and variance analysis.
• Evaluate product margins, store profitability and pricing strategies across segments.
• Oversee month-end/year-end closing, AP/AR/GL and inventory accounting.

Job Purpose

As the Finance Manager at BUZUD, you will oversee corporate financial planning, accounting operations, cash flow management, and financial compliance for our expanding medical technology business. Reporting to executive leadership, you will act as a strategic financial partner—optimizing retail and distribution margins, managing healthcare inventory finance, and maintaining strict regulatory compliance in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning, Analysis & Strategy

• FP&A Management: Lead annual budgeting, rolling financial forecasts, and variance analysis to track company performance against growth targets.

• Commercial Analysis: Evaluate product margins, retail store profitability, equipment rental structures (e.g., oxygen concentrators), and pricing strategies across consumer and healthcare partner segments.

• Business Partnering: Provide financial advice to department heads (Sales, Marketing, Operations) to support strategic decisions and ROI evaluations.

2. Accounting Operations & Financial Reporting

• Month-End/Year-End Closing: Oversee full-spectrum financial accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, fixed assets) and ensure timely closing of monthly management accounts.

• Financial Statements: Prepare statutory financial statements in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).

• Inventory Accounting: Supervise inventory control, valuation, and cost of goods sold (COGS) accounting across showroom retail and warehouse locations.

3. Treasury, Audit & Compliance

• Cash Flow Management: Monitor daily working capital, forecast cash flows, and oversee banking relationships, credit management, and trade financing.

• Taxation: Manage corporate tax compliance, GST filing, transfer pricing documentation, and tax incentive applications.

• Audit & Internal Controls: Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies; design and enforce robust internal control policies.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (CPA, CA Singapore, ACCA).

Experience

5–8 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial capacity. Background in medical devices, healthcare, retail, or distribution is preferred.

Technical Competency

In-depth knowledge of SFRS, Singapore tax laws (GST, Corporate Tax), and hands‑on experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, AutoCount).

Skills

Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling skills, analytical acumen, and high attention to financial integrity.
