Job summary

Easmed Pte Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Head of Finance to lead financial strategy and governance as the company scales across Southeast Asia.

The role partners with senior management to drive sustainable growth, strengthen controls, and transform finance operations through automation and digital tools. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, tax, and multi-entity finance across markets.

Qualifications

• Head of Finance or senior regional finance role in a distribution-based business.
• Experience in medical devices, healthcare or a similar regulated industry is highly preferred.
• Strong track record in P&L management, cash flow, working capital and margin management.
• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Strong understanding of tax and compliance across multiple jurisdictions, particularly in SEA.
• Experience managing multi-entity and cross-border finance operations, ideally across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand.

Responsibilities

As part of our expansion plans to transform healthcare through medical education, innovation and trusted partnerships, we are looking for a seasoned Head of Finance to join our leadership team.

The Head of Finance will provide strategic financial leadership to support sustainable growth, strengthen governance and ensure disciplined execution as we scale across markets.

This role will partner closely with senior management and Group Directors to drive financial strategy, improve business performance, strengthen financial controls and support expansion across the region.

Key Responsibilities

1. P&L Ownership & Financial Performance

• Own the Group's financial performance and full P&L.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial performance tracking.

• Provide clear financial insights and recommendations to management.

2. Strategic Financial Planning

• Lead long-term financial planning, forecasting and scenario modelling.

• Support investment and expansion decisions with financial analysis.

• Partner with Group Directors to align financial strategy with business goals.

3. Cash Flow & Working Capital

• Oversee cash flow, receivables, payables and inventory.

• Improve working capital management and cash utilisation.

• Ensure sufficient liquidity to support business operations and growth.

4. Distribution & Margin Management

• Provide financial oversight of the distribution business, including pricing, margins, rebates and distributor agreements.

• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce margin leakage.

• Partner with commercial teams to support profitable growth.

5. Tax, Compliance & Risk

• Oversee tax planning and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

• Ensure compliance with local, regional and cross-border tax requirements.

• Strengthen financial controls and manage key financial risks.

• Ensure timely audit and statutory reporting.

6. Finance Operations & Transformation

• Review and improve finance processes across the Group.

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and strengthen controls.

• Drive the use of automation, systems and digital tools to improve finance operations.

7. Leadership & Business Partnership

• Lead and develop the finance team across the Group.

• Partner closely with senior management and country teams.

• Provide practical financial advice to support business decisions.

• Balance strategic leadership with hands‑on execution when required.

What We're Looking For

• Head of Finance, Finance Director or Senior Regional Finance Manager experience in a distribution-based business.

• Experience in medical devices, healthcare or a similar regulated industry is highly preferred.

• Strong track record in P&L management, cash flow, working capital and margin management.

• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.

• Strong understanding of tax and compliance across multiple jurisdictions, particularly in SEA.

• Experience managing multi-entity and cross-border finance operations, ideally across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand.

• Experience working with distribution models, including pricing, rebates, inventory and distributor margins.

• Strong commercial and analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into business decisions.

• Strategic thinker who is also comfortable being hands‑on and close to the operations.

• Proven experience improving finance processes, systems, controls and operational efficiency.

• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with senior management and business leaders.
