Job summary

Hanjin Global Logistics Singapore Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced Finance Manager to oversee daily accounting and financial operations in Singapore.

You will manage full sets of accounts, monthly close, and financial reporting for the local office, with a focus on SAP ERP implementation and process improvements. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in accounting, a Diploma or Degree in accounting or finance, and strong knowledge of Singapore standards, GST, and corporate tax.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Hands-on SAP ERP experience, particularly the SAP FI module.
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Experience managing full sets of accounts independently.
• Good knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, GST, and corporate tax requirements.
• Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, or supply chain industries is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and monthly/year-end closing.
• Handle accounting and financial transactions related to air and sea freight forwarding operations.
• Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, payments, and receivables.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards, GST, corporate tax, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and improve financial processes using SAP ERP.
• Work closely with management, operations teams, and headquarters on financial matters.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Finance Manager to oversee the daily accounting and financial operations of our Singapore office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for full sets of accounts, financial reporting, cash flow management, and statutory compliance. Candidates with practical SAP ERP experience will be given preference.

• Manage full sets of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and monthly/year-end closing.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
