Job summary

Adecco Personnel Pte Ltd (Perm) is seeking an experienced Finance Lead to head the regional finance function for Singapore and nearby markets. This hands-on role builds robust controls, drives reporting, and partners with senior management on growth strategies.

You will oversee treasury, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and finance transformation across regional entities, while engaging with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and service providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
• Experience in a technology startup, high-growth company, or regional finance environment preferred.
• Mandarin proficiency required for Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full spectrum of finance, accounting, treasury, and financial reporting for Singapore and regional operations.
• Prepare timely monthly management reports, financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Partner with business leaders to provide financial analysis and recommendations for growth and strategy.
• Develop and implement finance policies, procedures, and internal controls to support scalability.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, tax regulations, audits, and reporting across jurisdictions.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on regional Finance Lead to join our fast-growing technology startup. This is a key pioneer role responsible for building and leading the finance function while supporting the company's expansion across the region.

The successful candidate will oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations, establish robust financial controls and SOP processes, and act as a strategic business partner to senior management. The role will also support regional entities and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full spectrum of finance, accounting, treasury, and financial reporting activities for Singapore and regional operations.
• Prepare timely monthly management reports, financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Partner with business leaders to provide financial analysis and recommendations to support growth and strategic decision-making.
• Develop and implement finance policies, procedures, and internal controls to support a scalable business framework.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, tax regulations, audits, and reporting obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and corporate service providers.
• Support annual budgeting, business planning, fundraising, and investor reporting activities.
• Monitor working capital, cash flow, and financial performance across the region.
• Drive finance transformation, process improvements, and automation initiatives.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant finance and accounting experience
• Experience in a technology startup, high-growth company, or regional finance environment is highly preferred.
• Proven experience establishing finance processes, controls, and reporting frameworks.
• Mandarin proficiency is required as the role involves regular communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and the review of business and financial documentation written in Mandarin.
