Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking an accounting professional to manage daily accounting for assigned facilities/entities in Singapore. You will perform journal entries, intercompany reconciliations, monthly closings, bank reconciliations and tax schedules in line with SOPs.

You will collaborate with business units and the Finance Operations Team to ensure timely, accurate revenue and expense recording, flag P&L fluctuations, and support audits; prior MNC/ healthcare shared services experience

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy/Diploma in Accountancy/Partial ACCA.
• Preferably 3 years’ relevant experience in similar position.
• Prior audit working experience.
• MNC and healthcare experience is preferred.
• Have handled large portfolio with multiple legal entities reporting.
• Experienced in shared service environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete journal entries by the stipulated timelines for the business units/entities.
• Perform interco reconciliation and upload to Tagetik for Group submission by WD5.
• Record revenue and expenses promptly on a monthly basis with no major omissions.
• Explain monthly P&L fluctuations for the Business Unit with due explanation.
• Drive resolutions and continuously improve processes for smooth operations.
• Prepare monthly Balance Sheet schedules and clear long outstanding items.
• Prepare tax schedules for Group Tax Department and support tax queries.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation.
• Assist Business Units in yearly stock take and incentives computation.
• Ensure SOP compliance in daily work performed.
• Support Reporting Manager in supervising staff and ad-hoc tasks.
