Finance IT Project Lead — ERP & Finance Systems

Job summary

Tencent Finance is seeking an experienced Finance IT Project Manager to independently drive complex financial system projects from end to end. You will plan, gather requirements, design solutions, implement systems, and deliver projects across finance teams.

The role requires deep knowledge of finance processes, IT systems, and stakeholder management, with strong focus on process standardization, compliance enablement, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IS, or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience delivering financial system implementations.
• 3+ full project cycles completed (ERP, billing platforms, payment systems).
• Strong PM skills; PMP certification preferred and proficiency with PM tools.
• Experience delivering Workday Finance, SAP, Oracle projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans with objectives, timelines and resources for Finance IT system implementations.
• Liaise between business and technical stakeholders to manage expectations.
• Lead end-to-end planning, development, testing, deployment and operations for financial systems projects.
• Ensure ERP system integrity (Workday Finance, SAP, Oracle) and related finance domains.
• Lead discovery and design of finance workflows (month-end close, billing, approvals).
• Collaborate with cross-functional development teams for seamless execution.
• Translate complex business needs into system requirements and drive technical solutions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance in system design (GDPR, PDPA etc).
• Manage external vendors for development, testing and operations.
