Job summary

Asurion is seeking a motivated Finance Intern to join our Controllership team in Singapore. This role provides valuable hands-on experience in financial reporting, compliance, and operational finance accounting within a dynamic regional environment.

You will assist with monthly close activities, prepare financial statements, conduct variance analysis, and contribute to internal control documentation to ensure compliance and efficiency.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance, possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and is proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and CoPilot; familiarity with ERP systems is considered a plus.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly close activities, performing account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Conduct variance analysis and assist in resolving accounting discrepancies.
• Help with the documentation and implementation of internal controls and financial processes.
• Participate in adhoc projects for process improvements and automation initiatives.
