Job summary

Haidilao in Singapore is seeking a Finance Intern to join the regional finance team and gain hands-on experience in daily accounting and operational workflows.

You will process payments, reconcile monthly Statements of Account, and maintain vendor records while supporting e-procurement and logistics tasks under supervision. Mandarin fluency is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking vendors.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's in Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Strong foundational knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and well organized for accurate data handling.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools.
• Must navigate Mandarin-language financial systems and liaise with Mandarin-speaking vendors.

• Coordinate with regional counterparts to collect and reconcile monthly Statements of Account (SOA).
• Maintain and systematically update comprehensive vendor profiles and archival records.
• Support the execution of e-procurement processes and assist in logistics management workflows.
• Collaborate with the wider team on ad-hoc financial, data-entry, and administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Strong foundational knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and equipped with strong organizational skills to handle data accurately.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
• Required to navigate and input data into localized financial accounting systems with Mandarin interfaces, as well as converse and read in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking regional vendors for payment processing and SOA collections.
