Job summary

PERSOL Singapore is seeking a Financial Accounting – GL/FA specialist to manage month-end close, fixed assets accounting and management reporting. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely financial information.

You will refine internal controls, support audits, liaise with stakeholders, and oversee GST filings. Experience with Workday is a plus; independence and meticulousness are essential in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Background in Accountancy or Chartered Accountant with ISCA.
• Preferably at least 3 years of experience in financial accounting.
• Knowledge of internal control frameworks, regulations and policies.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and GST Act and SB-FRS.
• Meticulous with numbers and a good team player.
• Independent and multitasker in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Workday is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end and year-end closing, fixed assets accounting and reporting.
• Review and administer quality service standards, finance-related policies and internal controls.
• Assist in internal audits and annual statutory audits.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on financial reporting and audit-related matters.
• Be responsible for fixed assets accounting and depreciation.
• Handle GST return filing and work with tax consultants/IRAS.
• Analyze financial performance, identify anomalies and risks, and provide recommendations.
• Identify areas to leverage technology and develop capabilities for financial analysis.
