Job summary

KEppel Management Ltd. in Singapore seeks a detail-oriented Accountant to support month-end close, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.

The role involves preparing journals, GST reports, consolidation schedules, and assisting audits, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. The candidate will have a Diploma in Accounting or Finance, 2–3 years of relevant experience, and knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting or Business or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Able to work independently and possess good communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly forecast, annual budget and cashflow projections.
• Assist in timely closing of accounts and consolidation schedules.
• Prepare variance analyses for monthly/quarterly reports.
• Prepare financial schedules, statutory accounts and ensure quality of accounts.
• Prepare month-end journals in accordance with established processes.
• Prepare quarterly GST reports and related party transactions reports.
• Perform reconciliation of monthly audit schedules, inter-company and bank transactions.
• Handle settlements to fixed assets and maintain asset registers.
• Prepare financial statements in XBRL format.
• Support external and internal audit, tax reporting and other statutory requirements.
• Provide day-to-day funding requirements and liaise with Shared Services Centre.
• Participate in process improvement projects.
• Such other duties as requested by supervisor/head of department.
