Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial records from GL through to month-end closing.

You will prepare financial statements, assist budgeting and forecasting, and support audits and regulatory submissions while upholding robust internal controls and IFRS compliance. Based in Singapore with a 5-day workweek in Pandan Loop, the role offers exposure to cross-functional finance initiatives.

Qualifications

• ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a full Accountant role with responsibilities in general ledger, financial reporting and month-end/year-end closing.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Singapore tax regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong skills in data analysis, financial reporting and spreadsheet management.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the full set of accounts, including the general ledger, financial records and review of accounts payable and receivable activities to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, management reports and relevant sustainability-related reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to facilitate business planning and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory requirements and support relevant tax submissions.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, banks, regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders as required.
• Work closely with management and cross-functional teams to support business operations, financial planning and strategic initiatives.
• Maintain effective internal controls, identify financial and operational risks and support appropriate risk management measures.
• Oversee inventory accounting and stock counts, investigate discrepancies and ensure the accuracy of inventory records.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls and reporting and support ERP/accounting system optimization and automation.
