WHAT is this role about?
Our Corporate Development team is looking for a Finance Executive to support our corporate finance functions.
A snippet of what you will be involved in:
- Assist and process day-to-day tasks for accounts receivables and payables
- Assist with bank reconciliations and tie accounts to the bank account accordingly
- Verify and process staff claims and related incentives according to company’s internal guidelines
- Vendor and procurement management and invoicing
- Assist in managing and accounting for the company’s fixed assets
- Consolidation and delivery of accurate and timely financial / management reports and providing monthly financial analysis
- Liaise with auditor and assist with annual accounts auditing
- Assist with quarterly GST submission, annual financial statement filing and tax submissions
- Ensure adherence to financial reporting and statutory requirements
- Work with the Corporate Development team to provide support on Finance or general matters that may arise
- Assist with finance operations and administration
- Review, recommend and carry out improvements to systems, business processes and procedures as and when required

An individual with strong experience in corporate finance to support the Finance Manager in managing the company's accounting and financial operations.

Requirements:
- Possesses a Diploma / Degree in accounting-related fields or any professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA Australia, ICAEW)
- Minimally 2-3 years relevant working experience
- Proficient with accounting standards such as Singapore Financial Reporting
- Familiarity with Singapore legal authorities (e.g. IRAS) requirements
- Experienced in financial accounting and tax management and filings for businesses
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google sheets is mandatory
- Familiarity with Quickbooks Online will be a plus
- Is a fast learner and problem solver
- Is resourceful, independent and requires minimal supervision or hand-holding
- Possesses a positive working attitude, is self-motivated and willing to learn
