Job Responsibilities
  • Manage full sets of accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations, with strong prudence and attention to detail.
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control policies.
  • Take ownership of month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial data.
  • Collaborate closely with different departments to support business operations, provide financial insights, and ensure proper cost allocation.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to assist management in sound decision-making.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and other external parties on statutory and audit matters.
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations and assist in group consolidation activities when required.
  • Demonstrate learning agility by adapting to new systems, processes, and accounting standards.
  • Be hands‑on in resolving accounting issues and driving process improvements for greater efficiency.
  • Exposure to handling foreign entities (ie. Malaysia, Myanmar, China, etc) and multi‑currency transactions will be an added advantage.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in handling full sets of accounts.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, standards, and local tax regulations.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g. MYOB, Oracle, Xero, or Workday) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a high level of accuracy.
  • Hands‑on, responsible, and able to take ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Demonstrates prudence, learning agility, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
  • Able to work independently and meet tight reporting deadlines.
