Job summary

Havas Singapore is seeking a highly motivated Finance Executive to support day-to-day finance operations across business units, including accounts receivable and accounts payable, intercompany transactions, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing.

The role requires a Diploma in Accountancy/Finance and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in Excel and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes, including timely billing to clients and validation of vendor invoices.
• Oversee intercompany transactions, reconcile accounts, and monitor ageing balances.
• Perform month-end closing, journal entries, and financial reporting in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain exchange rates and currency revaluations.
• Support annual financial audits and ensure accuracy of fixed assets ledger.

Job description

Havas Singapore is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our team and support the day-to-day management of finance operations across our business units including accounts receivable and accounts payable, intercompany transactions, bank reconciliations, month-end closing, and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for Accounts Receivable function which includes timely and accurate billing to clients
• Ensure vendor invoices are validated, recorded timely and accurately into system
• Monitor project status, WIP and identify projects to bill
• Perform job reconciliation and ensure timely job closure
• Process and manage intercompany billings and monitor ageing balances
• Perform intercompany reconciliation and reporting
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Maintain monthly exchange rates and foreign currency revaluation
• Maintain and update the fixed assets ledger
• Perform month-end closing activities and prepares monthly financial reports
• Assist with balance sheet account reconciliation
• Prepare journal entries for month-end closing
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies and guidelines
• Provide support during the annual financial audit
• Identify and review of work process and changes within scope of work
• Assist in other finance-related tasks and projects as assigned

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the service/ professional industry.
• Minimum Diploma in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Meticulous and responsible team player who can meet tight deadlines
• Problem-solving, analytical and time management skills
• Able to work independently as well as in a team
