Job summary

Havas Singapore is seeking a motivated and tech-curious IT Intern to support day-to-day IT operations and technology initiatives. Reporting to an IT Manager, you will gain hands-on exposure to troubleshooting, systems support, hardware/software maintenance, and IT projects within a dynamic business environment.

We aim to onboard for 4–6 months starting July/August 2026. You will contribute to Level 1 support, AV setup for Town Halls, and IT project assistance, with mentorship from experienced IT

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of Windows/macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Teams, and common business applications.
• Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi, routers, VPN).
• Basic troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities to handle end users.
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Willingness to learn, proactive attitude, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive with innovative ideas

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level hardware, software, and network support.
• Log and track tickets in Fresh Service; meet SLA and document work.
• Configure laptops and peripherals for new hires.
• Maintain IT asset and inventory records.
• Enforce IT policies; GDPR/PDPA and ISO 27001:2022.
• Set up AV for events and support meetings.
• Assist IT improvement projects and tool research.
• Support testing and rollout of IT initiatives.

Reporting to an IT Manager, this role provides hands-on exposure to troubleshooting, systems support, hardware/software maintenance, and IT projects within a dynamic business environment.

We are currently prioritising candidates who are able to commit to a 4-6 months internship and are able to commence in July/August 2026.

Responsibilities

Technical Support & Troubleshooting (Level 1)

• Provide first-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Log & Track Tickets in Fresh Service. Ensuring SLA is met and accurate documentation.
• Configure and deploy laptops and peripherals for new hires, providing onboarding and IT support for employees.
• Maintain accurate IT asset and inventory records.
• Enforce and ensure adherence to IT policies and procedures in line with internal governance standards, including GDPR/PDPA and ISO/IEC 27001:2022.
• Escalate more complex issues to Senior IT/Manager

Town Hall & AV Support

• Set up, operate, and provide on-site support for AV equipment for company events, meetings, and Town Halls.
• Support Webinars via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

Project Support

• Participate in IT improvement projects (e.g., system upgrades, digital transformation, migration).
• Conduct research on new tools, technologies, and security practices.
• Support testing and rollout of IT-related initiatives.

Requirements
