Job summary

INTERISLAND TECHNOLOGY AND ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a diligent finance professional to manage financial statements, GST, corporate tax, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations.

You will support budgeting, audits, and regulatory compliance while ensuring timely payments and accurate reporting. The ideal candidate holds a finance/Accounting degree, may have ACCA/CPA/CIMA, and has hands-on experience with SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks or Xero.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA are advantageous.
  • Relevant work experience depending on the seniority of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate financial statements and reports to support business decisions
  • Submit GST submissions, Corporate Tax and related submissions.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections
  • Communicate effectively: Work with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate invoicing and payment arrangements.
  • Process invoices and payments efficiently to maintain financial accuracy
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial planning
  • Perform bank reconciliations to verify and maintain accurate cash records
  • Maintain comprehensive accounting records to ensure data integrity
  • Support audits and tax filings by providing necessary documentation and information
  • Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity and financial stability
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies to mitigate risks
  • Utilize accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero) to streamline financial operations
  • Apply Microsoft Excel skills to analyze financial data and generate reports
  • Communicate effectively and solve problems to support team and organizational goals
  • Demonstrate attention to detail in all financial tasks to maintain accuracy and reliability
