Job summary

MECOMB SINGAPORE LIMITED in Singapore seeks an experienced accounting/finance professional to enhance internal controls, manage cash flow, and oversee audits. You will prepare annual plans, forecasts, and ad-hoc reports for Group HQ, while supporting capital expenditure evaluations and procurement compliance.

The role requires at least five years in a similar finance function, a relevant degree, and professional certification (CPA/ACCA preferred).

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in accounting/finance in a similar role.
Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional certification preferred.
Knowledge of management reporting, costing and gap analysis; SAP knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

Review and improve internal control system and procedures.
Review monthly financials, weekly cash reports, cash flow and debtor management.
Prepare annual plans, forecasts and ad-hoc reports for Group HQ.
Assist operating unit head on capital expenditure proposals and project evaluation.
Authorize payments and approve accounting documents; joint cheque signatory.
Manage external and internal audits and tax compliance.
Ensure assets are properly accounted for and disclosed.
Oversee procurement compliance and balance sheet reviews.
Lead D365/JDE 9.2 implementation and drive process improvements.
Identify improvements and lead new initiatives.
