Job summary

ADVANTEST (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks a Finance Business Process Engineer (AP) to analyze, redesign and optimize AP processes in a global shared services setting. You will drive efficiency, partner with IT, and implement scalable future-state solutions to meet evolving regulatory and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities include documenting current processes, identifying bottlenecks, and delivering automation that enhances control and reporting accuracy across IFRS and local standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems.
• 5+ years in financial operations, process reengineering, or ERP functional consulting.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle Accounts Payables.

• Document current-state finance processes, identify redundancies and bottlenecks.

Job Summary:

The Finance Business Process Engineer (BPE) – AP is responsible for analyzing, redesigning and optimizing of the finance business processes for accounts payable , driving efficiency and scalability in a global accounting shared services environment.

The Finance BPE – AP, equipped with a solution-driven mindset, acts as a change agent within the Finance function to challenge and simplify existing processes, implementing scalable future-state solutions to meet the evolving business, regulatory and statutory requirements.

Key Job Responsibilities and duties:

• To ensure quality and integrity of the financial statements in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standard) under the Advantest Group reporting and the local statutory reporting requirement.
• To document current-state finance processes, identify redundancies, bottlenecks and control gaps.
• To engineer future-state finance processes aligned with internal controls and accounting standards.
• To partner with IT and cross functional teams to test, deploy and manage changes.
• To translate finance requirements into technical specification for continuous improvement initiatives on workflow automation.
• To create and maintain user guides, conduct training and ensure ongoing compliance and audit readiness.

Requirements

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems;
• 5+ years in financial operations, process reengineering, or ERP functional consulting
• Deep knowledge of Oracle Accounts Payables module
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to leverage data analytics to enhance process efficiency
• Ability to identify opportunities to automate repetitive accounting and reporting processes
• Structured problem-solving and project coordination ability
• Highly motivated and ability to work in a self-organized manner
