Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a contract Accountant to manage daily accounting for assigned facilities, ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements. You will complete journal entries, coordinate intercompany reconciliation for group submission, and liaise with finance teams to ensure timely, accurate monthly revenue and expense recognition.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or Diploma in Accountancy or partial ACCA.
• 3 years' relevant experience in a similar role.
• Prior auditing experience; MNC and healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting work processes for assigned facilities/entities in compliance with SOPs.
• Complete journal entries within stipulated timelines for business units/entities.
• Ensure interco reconciliations and upload to Tagetik for group submission.
• Collaborate with business units and Finance Operations to record revenue and expenses monthly with accuracy.
• Highlight monthly P&L fluctuations and provide explanations.
• Prepare monthly Balance Sheet schedules and clear long outstanding items.
• Prepare tax schedules for Group Tax and assist with tax queries.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assist business units with stock takes and incentives computations.
• Support reporting manager in supervising staff and ad-hoc tasks.
