Job summary

Beyond Horizon Group is seeking a seasoned Finance Manager in Singapore to independently run the finance function for incubation and high-growth projects. You will build finance processes from the ground up, partner with business leaders, and drive financial health across multiple initiatives.

You will oversee accounting, reporting, tax planning, and internal controls, while shaping budgets, cash flow, and governance in a fast-moving, evolving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
• 6–8+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience, with at least 3 years of team management experience.
• Experience with Big 4 firms and/or professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in building financial systems and processes from scratch and independently supporting new businesses from incubation through growth and scaling.
• Strong knowledge of local accounting standards, tax regulations, and IFRS.
• Hands-on experience with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modeling capabilities are preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect financial performance with business operations and strategic decisions.
• Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly independent, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Financial Management of Incubation Projects.
• Develop budgets, monitor budget utilization and financial performance, and conduct variance analysis.
• Act as the finance business partner to project leaders and Group management, providing insights on financial health, cash efficiency, profitability, and business performance.
• Provide timely financial recommendations to support business expansion, resource allocation, and strategic adjustments.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, management reports, and financial analysis.
• Translate financial data into meaningful business insights and recommendations for senior management.
• Provide stage-appropriate advice on cost control, resource optimization, and profitability improvement.
• Oversee local tax compliance, monitor cash flow, working capital, and funding requirements.
• Lead annual audits and other financial compliance projects.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, regulatory authorities, and other external stakeholders.
• Lead, manage, and develop finance team members and collaborate with Business, HR, Legal, IT, and other functions.
